At first I started to react but then I smiled on the inside because I realized I’m running toward what light’s me up. I can be excited about my truth. I can be joyful. And none of it is dependent on what anyone thinks except me! I love the freedom in that and the rewards.

I especially believe that if more church-goers were more ‘Christ-like’ ie following the principles of unconditional love, acceptance and service to others that Jesus taught, the world would definitely be a better place. I work for a Scottish Christian charity and I’ve never had to contend with more judgmental people
anywhere before, even when I worked for a large commercial American software company. It’s very sad.
